Most of the rocks, fossils and minerals that are exhibited in this museum belong to the collection of the great geologist, Vicente Sos Baynat. But several new contributions have made it possible for the museum to exhibit more pieces, including minerals, rocks and fossils, classified depending on different criteria: crystallography, mineralogical type, rocks, fossils, mineral properties, mineral associations, textures, etc.
