This is the perfect mixture of the extensive plains to the south of Badajoz and the foothills of the Andalusian mountains
In the extreme south-east of Extremadura, in the foothills of the Sierra Morena, Finca de La Sierra de Azuaga borders two Nature Reserves in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, allowing you to enjoy the various indigenous species of the two communities, including black vultures, golden eagles, gato montés wildcats and, in particular, the imperial eagle, which is in danger of extinction.
This 2,884 hectare park also has another secret in the form of traditional constructions, such as drinking fountains, windmills, shelters and refuges, to make your visit even more of an experience. If you are a nature lover, you have to visit this park with its mixture of the extensive farmed plains to the south of Badajoz and the foothills of the Andalusia mountains, delimited by the Onza and Sotillo rivers.
